Abstract

In the present work the coexistence of two different base bands modulated by product and in amplitude respectively on two carriers of the same frequency are analyzed. These are uncorrelated because the carriers are orthogonal to each other, due to the phase difference of 90 ° between the two. The bandwidth of the resulting signal is twice that of the broadest bandwidth being transmitted. By analyzing a Modem (Modulation-Demodulation) process, with a non-periodic approach, as a significant conclusive aspect, it is demonstrated that the separate recovery of both base bands can be achieved with coherent detection on each modulation. The time and frequency analysis of the system is performed with random base bands and as support the simulation of the whole process is shown with a periodic approach using the MSv14 environment.
