Abstract

The dynamic characteristic of the supply chain (CS) underlines the importance of having management indicators that allow efficient management of decision making at administrative and managerial levels. Specifically for the area of
meat transport, the simulation tool is proposed to reflect the variation in total and unitary logistic costs in the face of various operational and structural decisions, as well as possible random variations of the cost variables. In this sense, it is
exposed the modeling of the simulation that is incorporated to the computer tool of estimate of costs related to the transport of meat, previously developed by the work group. The objective is to make a contribution towards the development of a tool that allows the combination of the dynamic analysis that gives us the simulation, with a computer system of easy integration to the existing systems in the company.
