Abstract

The certification and accreditation of engineering courses at University, initiated by the Superior Education Act 24.521, has involved a detailed analysis of all the training instances for future professionals. At the same time, it is necessary
to improve the processes of teaching and learning Physics in order to introduce students to the scientific method.
At the FRRa there are two problems: the limited availability of laboratory equipment and the limited budget for purchases, which makes experiences repetitive or forces the lecturers to carry them out just as a demonstration.
This project proposes to re-elaborate the laboratory proposals and design training equipment which enables amendments to proposed practical work, contributing to improve the understanding of the curriculum content related to Physics, revaluing the current experimental practices based on existing equipment.
To date, the first changes have been introduced and the results were good.
