This article aims to show the results obtained from the study of the small and medium-sized enterprises located in the Province of Santa Cruz, the main objective was to discern how these companies manage and connect the Strategic Planning, the Innovation, the use of Information technologies and their Human Resources Policies. The purpose was to establish if the small and medium-sized entrepreneur (SME CEO) identifies the bond between them and therefore he attempts to harmonize and affects the business policies adopted according to these factors. The work is focused on a summary of some of the most relevantaspects obtained from the surveys, meetings, collaborations and interviews throughout the
project. Santa Cruz, being the second largest province in the country and with only 60 years from its foundation, shows special features such as territorial organization, economic, educational and cultural development, as well as public polities lead to create the necessary conditions for business development.
