Abstract

Results of experimental studies of regularities of granules movement in working space of the vortex granulator are presented in article. The phenomena of side mixing, circulation by height and by radius, classification by weight are shown. For an intensification of mixing processes of particles and alignment of temperature fields of granules in vortex granulators is offered use of the combined fluidized bed which combines the gushing forth movement of granules in the center of the device and whirl of granules on the periphery of the device. Basic modes of work of the vortex fluidized bed are investigated. Dependences of circumferential velocity component on the radius and height of the granulator for various configurations of the vortex fluidized bed are received.
