Abstract

The Faculty of Engineering recently approved the Institutional SIED with the aim of promoting the development of quality content in virtual environments, within the framework of institutional policy that advocates student-centered learning (ACE), driven by generic, social, political, and attitudinal competencies, which are the focus of the Research Project. The objective of this presentation is to diagnose the presence of these observable competencies in the virtual environments fifth-year curricular spaces in the Industrial Engineering program, through the design and application of an instrument that allows for a review of explicit didactic coherence in the dimensions of materials and specific activities.
This proposal is based, on the one hand, on the new concepts for virtuality introduced at the national level and, on the other hand, on the strategic guidelines of the 2023 UNCuyo Strategic Plan regarding degree alignment with innovation and relevance parameters, taking into account various pedagogical modalities. It also considers the parameters defined in the document titled "Quality of Digital Contents and Their Mediation: Background and Definition of Criteria and Indicators". This work will describe the instrument, its dimensions, and the synthesis of extracted information that enables an effective diagnosis to drive the development of competencies in engineering education.
