Analysis of Storms Interiors and Exteriors for Entre Ríos Province

Abstract

The main results of the update of the intensity-duration-return period relationships for the Entre Ríos Province are presented. The temporal distribution patterns of the intense storms are analyzed. The criteria for the separation and selection of storms are identified. The design hyetographs corresponding to the methodology of Pilgrim, Cordery and French are presented. The general criteria of regionalization of the intensity-duration-return period relationships in zones with no existing rainfall records are described, on the basis of a temporal disaggregation procedure of the regionalized daily maximum rainfall.
