Abstract

This article describes an experience developed within the framework of the research project “E-Curriculum: Flexibility of the Curriculum towards The Complex Knowledge Society in Engineering Careers” the which allowed to analyze the learning process and cognitive evolution of the students involved in it.

This has the peculiarity of having been applied to students entering the higher education system andbe a challenging and innovative approach, given the conditions, to develop a topic autonomously without prior explanation from teachers.

This work describes the didactic-pedagogical strategy applied through the realization of a Practical Work that would allow students to develop different skills and competences, autonomous learning,bibliographic search, information selection, integration of curricular content into the professional profile, the

collaborative learning, group work, the use of ICT and other aspects.
