Abstract

The phenomenon of creep occurs in materials which are subject to stress states and temperature constant for long periods of time.
The characterization of this phenomenon must be done with testing machines appropriate, which are usually dependent technology patents expensive. To overcome this limitation, as an alternative, make the development of equipment, proprietary technology, avoiding the expenditure of money that is acquiring a similar trademark.
In this paper we describe the design and construction of a stress constant testing tensile creep machine has been developed and put to use in the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory of our Faculty. The proposed approaches not only promote the development of a proprietary technology, but their design has many advantages over others in the market and / or suggested in the literature current technology
