Abstract

This paper presents the development of an automated system of an experimental arrangement based on a solid state laser pumped by diodes with loss modulation. Regarding the technological point of view, the first experimental developments of processing will be addressed to determine the character of the experimental signal, from the measurement of some variable of the system. Being of great interest for the study of chaotic and random signals of nonlinear system for the knowledge of physical properties of the system as well as for the application in areas of secure transmission of information. It was achieved the control of the acquisition of the experimental signal from a PC oscilloscope as well as the control of a function generator to perform the signal adjustment by modfiying the repetition frecuency of the laser modulator. A innovative software of automation and control of experimental signal processing was implemented, easy to use by any user, which allows the character of the signal to be discerned during the measurement process, under the LabVIEW and Matlab programming environments.
