Buildings are responsible for an important part of energy consumption in modern societies, with consequent environmental effects and associated gas emissions. There is much literature on energy efficiency and building automation and control. This article will briefly review the first stage of the installation of an energy consumption measurement system, and the design of the architecture of a Building Management System applied to the UTN FRSF building to rationalize energy consumption in the Operation. A brief explanation of the criteria used in the selection of the elements of the installation and its practical implementation will be given. The main objective is the definition of an architecture to reduce the operation costs of the building without affecting the comfort and the necessary services of the facilities.
