Análisis Comparativo del Manejo Técnico en Tres Criaderos Industriales Porcinos

Abstract

The work consists of the comparison of three pig farms in total confinement systems, located in the province of Santa Fe. The farms have facilities with excellent performance, good levels of applied technology, breeding stock with first line genetics and similar food plans. It is for these reasons that they can be comparable. An analysis of the data was carried out in the critical stages of the process to understand the characteristics of the farms
and, in this way, to comprehend the most significant differences in each of the productive systems. The aim was to detect the best of each, in order to standardize the ideal production conditions for breeding farms with equivalent characteristics to those analyzed in this work. One of the proposed improvement actions was evaluated in two of the farms.
