Abstract

This paper aims to highlight the versatility of the mathematical program Polymath to perform regressions.
With this program, it was made linear correlations so as to get initial estimations of the parameters of the various models of enzymatic inhibition. The regressions were performed on experimental data from the book called Problem Solving in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering with Polymath, Excel and Matlab Second, written by Michael Cutlip y Mordechal Shacham. (Ed. Prentice Hall 2009).
It was determined the model that best fit the data, using statistical parameters correlation coefficient and variance.
