Abstract

The geographic information modelling implies a series of manipulations that must be defined through specific parameters that capture their semantics i.e. that capture the particularities of geographic information. In this paper the process of building a semantic model based on a meta-ontology to represent the concepts, relationships and constraints that have geographic data is presented, as well as a case study of the generated model.
