Abstract

The calibration of a brake tester consists in compare the strength of braking with a pattern of force known and
evaluate its uncertainty as measure of the quality of the calibration.
In an audit of the system of management of the quality of the laboratory calibrates one, under the address of the Agency Argentine of accreditation (OAA), is determined that the roughness of the rollers of the brake tester not had been dyed in has between them factors that influence in the calibration of the same, is determined that the roughness of the rollers of the brake tester not had been dyed in has between them factors that influence in the calibration of the same.
The result was a model mathematical assisted by computer based on the Taylor series, which allows to calculate the braking force measurement uncertainty and to which is you can load the measurements made during thecalibration of a brake tester in the workshop of review technical vehicle (TRTV).
