About the Journal
Focus and scope
The Technology and Science Magazine is a continuous publication of the Secretary of Science and Technology of the Rectorate of the National Technological University. Its purpose is to disseminate unpublished research work in areas and disciplines that encompass engineering as a whole and its contribution to society, focused on basic and applied research, technological development and productive innovation.
Papers relevant to the scope of the Science and Technology journal include, but are not limited to, the following areas: Materials; Transportation and Communication Routes; Technology of Organizations; Process Engineering and Biotechnology; Food Technology; Environment; Contingencies and Sustainable Development; Machines, Structures and Civil Constructions; Educational Technology and Engineering Education; Electronics; Information Systems and Computing; Telecommunications; Clinical Engineering and Bioengineering; Aeronautical and Space Engineering.
This magazine is aimed at scientific and technological researchers, research organizations, as well as public organizations that have the task of making political decisions on new scientific and technological developments.
Open access policy
The Technology and Science Journal maintains its commitment to the Open Access policies to scientific information, considering that both scientific publications and research financed with public funds should circulate on the Internet freely, freely and without restrictions.
This journal is based on the principle that offering the public free access to research helps a greater global exchange of knowledge by adhering to those established in the BOAI (2002) Budapest Open Access Initiative.
The publication of articles in this magazine is free. Access by readers to the content of this magazine is free of charge and is available on this site in its entirety and without restriction.

The collaboration of the editors, authors and reviewers of this journal and the ethics guide of the editorial processes is governed by the Principles of transparency and good practice in academic publications of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) available here.

PKP Preservation Network
PKP has developed the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve OJS journals. The LOCKSS program offers decentralized and distributed preservation, perpetual access without interruptions, and preservation of the authentic original version of the content.
