Abstract

Increasingly, the Renewable Distributed Generation modules linked to power grids in countries that have good characteristics to exploit their development, as is the case in Argentina. This paper intends to study the impact of eight wind farms that were awarded in the bidding rounds of the “RenovAr” program, promoted by the Ministry of Energy of the Nation and that will be linked to the 132 kV transmission system in the region Patagonian Load flow simulations are carried out for different states of generation by the park, according to statistical studies of winds at the location of each of them. The results obtained show that in demand valley scenarios, some wind farms cause high overloads on 132 kV lines, which require the development and implementation of a generation disconnection system. The results show that the network studied supports an insertion of the 100% electric vehicles for both charging systems analyzed. The limitations of the network are presented by overload in the first trunk section of the distributor. The semi-fast charging system generates greater impact in terms of power demanded in the network.
