Air pollution is the presence in the atmosphere of substances in concentrations that pose a risk to health. Air quality is quantifiable based on pollution levels, where one of the main pollutants that deserves special attention is the so-called particulate matter (PM), which is a complex mixture of solid and liquid particles suspended in the air. The aim of this work is to carry out a preliminary evaluation of the urban air quality of the city of Rafaela using digital continuous measurement instruments (AirVisual Pro) placed at strategic points in the study area. The results of the statistical processing of the data, applying the US-AQI index, show that the air quality is good to moderate with seasonal peaks in the concentration of particulate matter during the months of May and November.
