Abstract

In the present work a survey of the existing regulations in Argentina was carried out both at national and provincial level, with regard to distributed generation for users of the distribution network. A comparison was made between those provinces that have advanced in a detailed regulatory framework based on a set of basic characteristics: (i) Adherence to law 27.424, (ii) Current regulations, (iii) Benefits of provincial law, (iv) Modality, (v) Equipment to use, (vi) User Categories, (vii) Fee, (viii) Financing. Although promotion policies, such as tariff benefits and particular financing tools, have contributed to improving the feasibility of implementing these generation systems, it is still necessary to deepen incentive strategies to advance to a massive insertion of distributed generation.
