Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to review the necessary competencies in engineering careers taking into account the impact, development and future trends of Industry 4.0 technologies in industrial organizations, firstly carrying out an analysis of the state of the art, to subsequently propose a questionnaire for the survey of the needs of the local metallurgical industry, the perception of students and teachers in this area, which can be used as information in the improvement of professional training.
