This study evaluates the effect of processing temperature on the properties of enclosure panels manufactured from post-consumer Tetra Brik cartons by thermo-compression, while keeping processing time and pressure constant. Specimens were manufactured at 110, 140, and 200 °C to determine density, water absorption, flexural strength, and fire behavior, and were compared with conventional dry-construction materials. Increasing the processing temperature improved flexural strength, reaching 15, 27, and 30 MPa at 110, 140, and 200 °C, respectively, while reducing water absorption from 67% to 37%. Fire behavior was governed by the multilayer structure and the aluminum layer acting as a thermal barrier, with no significant differences among the evaluated temperatures. Compared with conventional materials, the panels exhibited lower water absorption and higher mechanical strength, attributed to their high density and predominance of plastic components. The results demonstrate the potential of post-consumer Tetra Brik cartons as a raw material for enclosure panels, whose application requires further validation through joint design, an experimental prototype, and complementary technical studies.
