Monitoring Platform for Photovoltaic Plant Remote Management with PR Indicator. Implementation in the Armstrong Cooperative's PV Plant
Keywords:
Photovoltaic plant, monitoring, platform, remote management, distributed generation, electric cooperativesAbstract
The present article describes an open-source telemanagement platform designed for the visualization of the characteristic curves of a photovoltaic power plant and, specifically, for the calculation of the Performance Ratio (PR). The platform is the final development proposed as part of the R&D Project Consolidated Equipment with Incentives ENTCBRO0008447TC”, which aims to provide remote management tools to electric cooperatives that have assumed the role of energy producers from photovoltaic power plants. This development contributes to strengthening electric cooperatives and provides an academic framework for training future engineers in the field of renewable energy plant operation and smart grid management. The paper presents the achievements in each layer—Perception, Transport, and Processing—and concludes with the calculation and visualization of the Performance Ratio indicator, obtained from real data.
