Abstract

The purpose of this project is the design, calculation and optimization of a self-supporting metal telecommunications tower. For this, three different models of towers were proposed; Built with steel bars with triangular section bases, with a height of 30 meters. For the analysis, the city of Rafaela, Santa Fe was taken as a reference location. The current regulations of CIRSOC 306 (Argentine Regulation of Steel Structures for Antennas) and CIRSOC 102 (Argentine Regulation of Wind Action on Constructions) were applied. The work will be carried out with the use of the calculation programs RFEM 5 and RWIND SIMULATION in its campus educational version.
