Abstract

When operating energized elements, one of the main items to comply with is to preserve the integrity of the operator. These works can be performed at heights, for which, for medium heights, a crane with a nacelle is chosen. To ensure this safety compliance, the liner insulating element is used. The objective is focused on the electrical analysis of the liner for the establishment of a routine electrical safety test. The techniques tested for its implementation, the procedure carried out, the drawbacks and the results derived from the experiences are presented.
