Abstract

The general objective of this research is to contribute to industrial sustainability by proposing circular systems that reduce the total impact associated with the production and consumption of plastics in Argentina. It aims to characterize the current production systems in Argentina of the different plastics and identify the production and consumption factors that influence the circularity of plastic systems. The product of the research will consist of obtaining a set of indicators that respond to each aspect identified in the conversion of the plastic industry from linear to circular and analyze the environmental impact associated with the different strategies identified, through Life Cycle Analysis.
