Abstract

The present work aims to show the degree of internalization and interest of the current profile of the civil engineering student of the UTN Frro in the field of sustainable development and environment. For this reason we analyzed three indicators of interest with the student vision of the career through a survey and participation in meetings and Regional Conferences of Civil Engineering.

Based on the results obtained, we noticed a gradual interest on the part of the students in this problem and consequently in a necessary innovation in training with an integral sense, focusing on environmental responsibility, which will provide a solid basis, in order to face the challenges of the future exercise of their profession. We also think this investigatios as an antecedent, to be consulted in case a pedagogical proposal is generated or the curricular updating of the career in Civil Engineering of our institution.
