This paper presents experimental and numerical results obtained using circular piezoelectric energy harvesters, which offer broad versatility in energy recovery from vibrational sources, primarily from common engineering phenomena. The studied device incorporates an oscillating mass at its center to tune specific operating frequencies and increase the generated power. Experimental and analytical results are presented for both linear and nonlinear formulations, with particular attention to the first vibration mode. The vibrational source is the engine of a John Deere combine harvester, which is intended to be equipped with ignition sensors for fire detection.
