Abstract

In the Argentine Republic, engineering majors are implementing new curricular designs based on the development of competencies. Teams of research professors from the Regional Faculties of Avellaneda, Bahía Blanca, Chubut, Neuquén, San Nicolás and Trenque Lauquen of the National Technological University developed a research project to analyze the implementation of said process between 2024 and 2026. The object of the study is the correspondence between the learning results, the teaching methodology and the evaluation system in the development of the new teaching plans. These variables comprise subvariables that are interrelated in the training and evaluation activities of the course. The study is descriptive and also about educational change from the action research approach, establishing strengths, difficulties and improvements. The main instruments are observation records and surveys with quantitative and qualitative data. The work is organized with regional references, local work and in virtual classrooms, in first-year, mid-career and end-of-career groups. There are interesting advances in the participating teams.
