Study between perpendicularity and capture of solar radiation
Keywords:
Solar energy, Solar radiationAbstract
This work consists of a comparative study between the percentage of perpendicularity to the sun's rays in the year offered by an installation of fixed photovoltaic panels with respect to the percentage of global solar radiation captured by said installation. This analysis was carried out for the start day of each station and for each hour in a time slot between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., using the concept of the percentage of perpendicularity that the surface of a panel offers to the sun's rays and the concept of collection. of global solar radiation on said surface, using solar geometry and the PV LIGHTHOUSE program respectively. In this way, the values obtained through the global radiation capture calculation program are greater than the
percentage of perpendicularity that the surface of a panel offers to the solar rays according to the solar geometry, these are; 71.98% compared to 42.69%.
