Abstract

Based on the project Two-axis photovoltaic solar tracker with a driving force, which consists of a vertical axis that gives the installation of PV panels tracking the Sun from East to West, and a horizontal axis that tracks the Sun at its altitude, it was compared with another system of fixed photovoltaic panels with the same technical characteristics and number of panels, on a clear day and on a partly cloudy day. Where it was verified, by measurements of electric power
generation through the data provided by their respective inverters with grid connection (On-grid), that on cloudy days the difference in electric power generation of the mobile system with respect to the fixed panel system decreases compared to a clear day, thus approaching the value of energy generated from the system with monitoring to the value of the fixed system.
