The permanent search to optimize resources in productive organizations makes it necessary to reflect on the need to generate projects based on Continuous Improvement, and on the use of management tools linked to it. Precisely the main objective of this project was to evaluate the different processes of an industrial weaving plant in search of the main problems, or opportunities to improve, using different tools, methodologies, and technical knowledge of INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING. Thus, by defining the management indicators for the variables considered in each case, a diagnosis was made that allowed an initial situation to be composed; carry out a detailed analysis of the causes of the problems detected and define the improvement tools to be implemented according to their nature. Also establish achievement objectives, according to the tactical plans established in each case, and finally carry out an economic assessment of the projected impact of the improvements, as well as the necessary investment in each case. The work was carried out in a leading textile company in the sector, located in the industrial park of the province of La Rioja, Argentina, obtaining fundamental problems to analyze such as: lack of training, lack of management indicators, machine washing inappropriate, among others. Detecting the opportunity to reduce the resources linked in each case, and which are indicated in this article. The results of the analysis of each problem, both operational and economic, lead us to reflect on the importance of the permanent critical review of our processes in order to optimize their productivity and efficiency. Starting from the use of very simple Continuous Improvement tools, in some cases, but often not used simply due to lack of knowledge.
