Abstract

At the beginning of 2023, multidisciplinary studies were conducted in the municipality of La Libertad (Chiapas, Mexico) in order to demonstrate the relationships between road infrastructure and the wellbeing of the population. This particular municipality was analyzed because the majority of the population in the locality are women. Our comprehensive road infrastructure studies involved collection of field data on site for subsequent processing, analysis and reporting. The results show the satisfaction of the women in the study locality. The results obtained after conducting the study are as follows: walking (69.64%) dominates the women's mode of transportation within the locality, 33.93% of the respondents say they are satisfied with the roads while 46.43% express economic satisfaction. On the other hand, satisfaction with access to basic services and educational level is observed in 70% and 68% respectively.
