Abstract

This paper analyzes, compares and discusses the information collected through surveys carried out on students of the National Technological University, referring to the approach to the competencies defined by the Federal Council of Engineering Deans of Argentina in their education. The objective of this research is to know the results obtained from the surveys of the project "Evaluation of social, political and attitudinal competences in engineering careers at the National Technological University. Methodologies and instruments”. The methodology used is based on an exploratory descriptive cross-sectional study over time, with the aim of evaluating the current situation of teaching by competencies in the regional Faculties involved in the research project. As results and conclusions, it is observed that the teaching of competencies is present in engineering education, but it does not adequately reach the students, who show great interest in assimilating them.
