Arc Flash sensitivity study on busbars in an industrial facility

Abstract

A focused analysis and description of the electric arc phenomenon, named Arc Flash, is presented. The procedure provided by the AEA 92606-2016 regulation implemented in Argentina is described. In turn, the results of a technical study of the variables influencing the relevant categorization applied to a local company are presented. This study is conducted to determine the personal protection elements and finally expose arc risk mitigation measures to achieve greater safety in the workplace.
