Perception of the students on the development of competencies in Engineering careers at the UTN

The continuous technological advance that gives rise to the phenomenon of globalization, leads professionals to develop skills which allow them to adapt to the new environment, and become qualified people both in their discipline and to face challenges. Hence, the development of skills during their basic training is essential, ensuring that they can operate with ethics, professional responsibility and social commitment, perform efficiently in work teams, communicate effectively, continuously and autonomously learn and act with an entrepreneurial spirit.
The objective of this work is to know the perception of the students about the social, political and attitudinal competencies in Engineering careers of the National Technological University, from a survey carried out by a group of four Regional Universities. The results obtained reflect recognition and assessment by those surveyed, highlighting the need to deepen their teaching
