Abstract

In this work, that emerges from a project of investigation and development in execution of the CERTAM group of the UTN Santa Fe, it´s proposed to analyze mobility patterns based on the origin-destination matrices of the public passenger transport system, generated based on the own methodology that uses the georeferenced transactions of the “unique electronic ticketing system” (SUBE). Obtaining these matrices enables the special analysis of the system from public transport in a simple way, in addition to being the basic input to feed demand models (which would allow, for example, to lead to appropriate decisions when proposing modifications to the system) in order to obtain these matrices, the trip chains of each card are analyzed individually throughout the day, for those cards that register more than one daily trip. The origin and destination of each section of the trip is specially located and then associated with a specific zone, to finally count the trips between zones, to according to the adopted segmentation. This work aims to test the methodology, through its application with real information from the city of Santa Fe, by comparing the mobility patterns observed before and after the social, preventive and obligatory isolation dictated in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic based on the reading of these matrices.
