Abstract

It is part of the teaching challenge to generate deep learning experiences that allow students to actively build what they learn and give meaning to what they need to remember. In this sense, authentic evaluation focuses on the process rather than the result. , places the student in their context, bringing them closer to interacting with complex problems, where the integration of previous knowledge and understanding of new ones is achieved. During the process, there are a series of instruments to collect evidence of student learning. In the present work, a pedagogical experience is developed that implements the authentic evaluation, in a subject of the fifth year of the Information Systems Engineering (ISI) career. The implementation of actions carried out by the teaching team to promote deep learning is detailed, where activities that account for the use of authentic evaluation methodology were planned
