Systems Engineering requires the development of new methods for the efficient construction of more usable applications of information systems. This motivated the development of a methodological proposal, which allows usability attributes to be incorporated, integrating them into the software development life cycle. During the requirements elicitation stage, usability attributes are identified from Business Process Modeling. Then, through a series of transformations, they are integrated into a structure called "Requirements Baseline", which uses the Extended Language Lexicon (LEL) and scenarios. During the conceptual modeling process, patterns are incorporated, which allow defining metrics for the evaluation of Usability attributes. These attributes are based on the ISO/IEC 25010 (SQUARE) standard. This will allow evaluating the presence of Usability in the system later and the incorporation of quality aspects (Usability) early.
