This work will summarize the doctoral thesis plan consisting in the valorization of the residues prevenient from the bioethanol production (Dried distilled grains with solubles) through thermal and catalytic pyrolysis, with the aim of obtaining products with higher value. The research consists in obtaining bio-oils with specific characteristics that contains higher value molecules. To achieve this it will be developed and characterized through analytic techniques (XRD, FTIR, SEM-EDAX, TEM, BET, AA o ICP, TPR, UV-Reflectance Diffuse, XPS) the catalytic materials, such as nanostructured aluminas, zeolites, metal-organic frameworks and mixed oxides with perovskite structure.
Besides, it will be presented the progress and experiments done by the moment, referring to the characterization and conditioning of the biomass.
