Abstract

Within the framework of the PhD Thesis "Definition of Patterns based on Good Practices for the Electronic Government systems development", an experiment was carried out with the aim of evaluating whether or not the use of patterns improves the ease of understanding of the conceptual model. of a real electronic government system, comparing them with the use of narrative description exclusively, or in combination with business patterns plus narrative description. This work develops the main activities of the experiment, planning, execution, analysis and interpretation of results, and presents its conclusions in relation to the hypotheses raised.
