This thesis is included in a research group that proposes the development of a new composite material using plastic polymer waste. In this way, thought an innovative and sustainable process we will be develop building components with technical properties according to the actual regulations.
In addition, it will reflect on the principles of sustainability in construction, based on the reuse of waste as a contribution to the decontamination of the environment.
The aim is to obtain boards that comply with the regulations in our country, for their use in housing enclosures.
As technical advantages, these components are expected to be lighter than traditional ones, with a lower foundation and structure requirement, low water absorption, zero swelling by the water and reduced risk of shrinkage cracks in joints and joints.
