Abstract

This work studies the dynamic of a cantilever beam under leakage flow induced vibrations with different boundary
conditions and loads. Using a fluid-structure bidimensional model, we perform a linear analysis to get the equations of motion
and to obtain an eigenvalue problem. This allows us to know the flutter limits of the cantilever and simple supported beams.
Then, a nonlinear model is used to study the system temporal evolution with the mentioned configurations and the action of a
nonlinear force.
