Jornadas de Jóvenes Investigadores Tecnológicos 2020

Abstract

The eighth edition of the Meeting of Jóvenes Investigadores Tecnológicos (JIT) 2020 was held virtually from October 29 to 30, 2020, at the Facultad Regional Venado Tuerto of the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional; under the joint organization of the 5 Facultades Regionales of Santa Fe. The virtual format transcended the regional nature of the Meeting, and extended it to the whole Universidad Tecnológica Nacional community. This allowed to have more than 300 registered for the event, with a total of 89 contributions submitted. In particular, 70 of these contributions were selected for live presentation in a parallel arrangement of 3 sessions (using Zoom meetings and a YouTube channel for mass dissemination). The rest were featured in a pre-recorded video session. Live talks and prerecorded videos are available online (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9ILDngudRdwDhwXZGl0SQg/videos). At the end of the Meeting, a special mention was made of the 10 most popular videos, based on the number of views during the Meeting. From the Organizing Committee, we appreciate the participation of the attendees and speakers in the Meeting, and to each of those who worked hard for the realization of this 8th edition. In particular, we thank the Secretario de Cultura y Extensión Universitaria of Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Eng. Daniel Altina, for having provided the virtual environment that was previously used in the Expo Ingeniería 2020, and the group of Eng. Gabriel Cerutti; for having specially adapted it to the characteristics of the Meeting.
