2nd Symposium on 2D Nanomaterials, Graphene, Devices and Applications

Abstract

The National Technological University, Buenos Aires (UTN.BA) is pleased to invite you to participate, together with the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation, the Department of Electronics, and the NanoElectronics Laboratory (UTN-UIDI-CONICET), of the 2nd edition of the Symposium on 2D Nanomaterials, Graphene, Devices and Applications (https://nanomateriales2d.frba.utn.edu.ar/).

This event will have the particularity of being carried out entirely in virtual format, given the circumstances of isolation imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. This event is dedicated to the study of all 2D materials that began with the discovery of graphene and whose objective is to address the issues related to the physical and chemical properties of 2D materials. In turn, the various applications of these materials include conformation of devices, energy storage and conversion, sensing and catalysis, optics and flexible electronics, among others.

The Symposium had the presentations of more than 18 distinguished professors from the US, Spain, Chile and Argentina, who led the widest range of regional research, and 4 specialists from the area of knowledge transfer to industry participated in the round table. On the other hand, several scientific works and posters have been received, evaluated by the 10 members of the scientific committee, and who participated in the awards for the best Poster, best Video and the best Work of the entire symposium, and the total attendance to the symposium exceeded the 100 virtual visits from various countries, among which we can highlight participations from Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Chile and Argentina.
