Argentina's current energy situation is complex. We will reach a peak demand of 30,257 MW in February 2025, a significant portion of which will be imported from neighboring countries. There is also a significant deficit in the transmission system, which prevents the incorporation of renewable energy in large power plants. Demand growth is significant, with the incorporation of large mining companies in the Puna region, which require large demands. This is a problem that has been going on for years, with significant disinvestment in the system, leading to a high possibility of power outages next summer. Technical solutions to this problem are known, but the time it would take to rectify this situation is several years. The analysis in this paper aims to show alternative solutions and demonstrate the quickest and most economical solutions to implement in order to minimize future problems. This requires the use of renewable energy and equipment in line with the Energy Transition.
