Abstract

Technological Education is a discipline that aims at the cultural training of full and critical citizens to interact with the artificial world, pursues technological literacy and a deep understanding of technical processes. Through this discipline, it is intended that the subject who goes through compulsory schooling achieves a progressive understanding of technology and its links with society and nature. Its teaching requires a process of curricular updating based on accelerated technological change, new regulatory frameworks (Resolution No. 343/18) to adequately link Technological Education, Digital Education, Programming and Robotics. Teachers who teach this disciplinary field need to know new perspectives on what learning is and how these perspectives require exploring and implementing other pedagogies and emerging technologies. Some ideas are proposed to work on initial education and primary education.
