Abstract

There are new challenges in teaching and learning methodologies at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional due to the reformulation of planning based on the competency training model. For this reason, the Facultad Regional Bahía Blanca, in its four-monthly course Fundamentos de Informática, corresponding to the first year of several Engineering degree programmes, proposes active methodologies student-centered that contribute to this process of change. For it, this paper presents three experiences applied in practical activities related to three objects of knowledge of the subject respectively, describing each of them: their implementation in different four-monthly, the benefits of their realisation and the results obtained from the opinion of each student after their participation in the activities. It concludes by showing how favourable the incorporation of these methodologies and participation in these activities during the training process is, and closes with an idea for future work.
