Abstract

This project consists in an economic profitability study, regarding the billing of electrical energy
consumption as a residential user, between; have a hybrid photovoltaic generation installation connected to the distribution network of the EPE (Provincial Energy Company) with a Backup system (battery bank) and the cost of purchasing electrical energy from the distribution company if it does not have with battery bank. The facility under study is part of the provincial program ERA (Renewable Energy for the Environment) of the province of Santa Fe. From this study it is concluded that it is more profitable to accumulate excess energy in a battery bank for later use, than to inject it into the EPE network (injection) due to the difference in cost between the sale and the purchase according to the ERA program.
