Abstract

This work presents a digital transformation model based on DIN SPEC 91345:2016-04, applied to a welding machine for plates made of thermoplastic polymers. The model allows for the creation of a comprehensive digital representation of the welder and its process, with the purpose of accessing relevant welding process information for decision-making, in real-time. The results
obtained include the validation of the model through an educational prototype and data readings in a graphical interface, following
the guidelines of the Industry 4.0 reference architecture. In this initial stage, data from physical variables will be simulated, and in a second stage, once the model has been refined, the corresponding sensors will be implemented, avoiding unnecessary costs.
