Abstract

The Person Certification Body operates within the CNEA two schemes: Laboratory Metallographer of ferrous materials with two product scopes and Microstructural Replica Metallographer. In 2023, the calling for the examination to certify the Level 1 of the Laboratory Metallographer scheme is planned for both scopes. For this, the selection and characterization of examination elements is necessary. This work describes the methodology used to characterize these elements in accordance to the IRAM-ISO/IEC 17024:2013 standard “Conformity assessment. General requirements for organizations that carry out certification of people.
